Blood components consist of:
a) Blood plasma
b) Platelets
c) Red blood cells
d) White blood cells

Blood component

Blood plasma
a) It is transparent and yellowish
b) Its contains various protein, water and  and solutes

Whole blood components

Platelets
a) It is a fragment of cells
b) Also known as thrombocytes

c) It is functioning in blood clotting.

When the blood vessels is damaged (wound), the vessels will constrict to reduce the blood flow to the injury site while the platelets will form a plug or clot around the damage. b) Mature cell have no nucleus
c) The shape is biconcave

d) It is functioning in oxygen transportation.

An oxygen combined to the hemoglobin contain in the red blood cells. Oxygen will be transported throughout the body.
